Those are the three things we watch on every property we hold, and the reason we manage our investments ourselves rather than at arm's length.
- Occupancy: how many beds or units are let, and for how long they stand empty.
- Income: the rent a property should earn against what it actually collects.
- Upkeep: what maintenance costs, and how quickly problems are fixed.
